Ob im Kuchen, in Desserts oder in orientalischen herzhaften Gerichten, ich liebe diesen süßlichen milden Zimt. Mein Tipp für Kuchenbäcker: Neben einer Prise Salz etwas von diesem Zimt ins frische Vollkornmehl geben. Das mildert den Vollkorngeschmack ab und schmeckt so auch Nicht-Vollwertköstlern prima.

: Review date:Lebensbaum cinnamon is in no way comparable to the cheap 0815 cinnamon from the discount store. You notice immediately when you first open it that this is a high-quality food. What a great aroma. Ceylon cinnamon is far less spicy, but much milder, slightly sweet and very balanced in taste. It also contains very little coumarin. In my opinion, it is particularly suitable for flavouring sweet dishes. If you are looking for a particularly fine cinnamon flavour, you will find it here. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to try cinnamon in hearty dishes.
Der Zimt von Lebensbaum lässt sich in keinster Weise mit dem billigen 0815 Zimt aus dem Discounter vergleichen. Man merkt sofort beim ersten Öffnen, dass es sich hier um ein hochwertiges Lebensmittel handelt. Was für ein tolles Aroma. Der Ceylon Zimt ist weit weniger scharf, dafür aber viel milder, leicht süßlich und sehr ausgewogen im Geschmack. Er enthält zudem sehr wenig Cumarin. Meiner Meinung nach eignet er sich vor allem zum Würzen von süßen Speisen. Wer auf der Suche nach einem besonders feinen Zimtaroma ist, wird hier fündig. In deftigen Gerichten habe ich den Zimt leider bisher noch nicht ausprobieren können.
