: Review date:Too sweet for us in the long run, and the relatively high rice content in the crispbread varieties of Le Pain des Fleurs has become a bit boring (except for the rice crispbread). Otherwise, a great company that we appreciate very much, especially for people with intolerances or sensitive digestion.
Uns auf Dauer zu süß und der relativ hohe Reisanteil in den Knäckebrotsorten der Firma Le Pain des Fleurs wird doch mittlerweile etwas langweilig, (ausser beim Reisknäckebrot). Ansonsten eine tolle Firma die wir sehr schätzen, besonders für Menschen mit Unverträglichkeiten oder sensibler Verdauung.

: Review date:As a gluten allergy sufferer, it's not easy. I'm not allowed to eat many delicious things and baking everything myself is too time-consuming. By chance, I came across the chestnut slices and tried them out. At first, the taste took some getting used to, because I had never eaten chestnuts before. After the first bite, I had an "aha" effect. It tasted just as crunchy as the conventional crispy slices in the shops. The taste of the bread is pleasantly sweet and goes very well with savoury food as well as sweet products like honey or delicious homemade jam. But I also like to eat the slices in front of the TV in the evening.
Als Glutenallergiker hat man es nicht leicht. Viele leckere Sachen darf man nicht essen und alles selber backen ist mir zu aufwändig. Per Zufall stieß ich auf die Kastanienschnitten und probierte sie aus. Am Anfang war der Geschmack etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, denn ich hatte vorher noch nie Kastanien gegessen. Nachdem erstem Bissen kam bei mir ein Aha-Effekt. Es schmeckte genauso knusprig wie die herkömmlichen Knusperscheiben im Handel. Geschmacklich ist das Brot angenehm süß und passt hervorragend zu herzhaften Sachen wie auch zu süßen Produkten wie Honig oder leckerer, selbstgemachter Marmelade. Aber auch am Abend vor dem Fernseher esse ich die Schnitten sehr gerne.

Getestet und für lecker befunden! Kastanienmehl gehört sowie so zu meinen persönlichen Favoriten, da war klar das ich die Kastanienschnitten gleich versuchen musste. Die Schnitten sind, wie der Name schon sagt, knusprig. Endlich mal was anderes zu den üblichen Brotsorten. Am liebsten esse ich die Kastanienschnitten mit Honig. Ein leckeres Geschmackserlebnis, das wirklich überzeugt. Ich kann nur empfehlen, die Schnitten von Blumenbrot mal zu probieren und sich überzeugen zu lassen.

In terms of consistency, they resemble the airy, fluffy crispy slices from conventional shops. However, the slices themselves are only half as thick and a little more brownish. Two packs of 75g each provide the fresh crunch effect, even if you've already eaten a few slices of the chestnut slices days before. I think I perceived a slightly sweet nut flavour, which I would describe as delicious and "something different". Highly recommended as a snack, snacking, bread or rice cake alternative. Definitely give them a try!
Wer oder was ist denn Blumenbrot? Die Neugier hatte gesiegt und ich habe mir die Sorte "Knusprige Kastanienschnitten" bestellt, gekostet und für überraschend lecker befunden! Von der Konsistenz her ähneln sie den luftig lockeren Knusperscheiben aus dem konventionellen Handel. Die Schnittchen an sich sind allerdings nur halb so dick und etwas bräunlicher. Zwei Packungen zu je 75g sorgen für den frischen Knuspereffekt, auch wenn man bereits Tage zuvor einige Scheiben der Kastanienschnitten gegessen hat. Ich meine, einen leicht süßlichen Nussgeschmack wahrgenommen zu haben, den ich als lecker und als "mal etwas anderes" beschreiben würde. Als Snack, zum Naschen, als Brot- oder Reiswaffel-Alternative wärmstens zu empfehlen. Definitiv ausprobieren!
