I have little experience with self-tanning creams so far. But since I often use natural cosmetics from Lavera, I thought I'd start with Lavera. At least I can be sure that there are no chemicals in the ingredients. As the product name suggests, it is a cream. In retrospect, I would have preferred a self-tanning serum. But that is not available in natural cosmetics. I would describe the consistency of the Lavera self-tanning cream as highly viscous (i.e. somewhat thicker than normal day creams). In any case, I had a hard time applying it evenly to my face. Regardless, I could already notice a slight (normal-looking) tan in the morning. To tan the skin evenly, I guess you need an even layer on the skin. I didn't quite manage that. I found the smell pleasant but because of the (for me) difficult handling, only 4 out of 5 points.

Ich habe bisher wenig Erfahrungen mit Selbstbräunungscremes. Aber da ich häufig Naturkosmetik von Lavera verwende, dachte ich mir, fange ich halt mit Lavera an. Wenigstens kann ich mir sicher sein, dass keine Chemie in den Inhaltsstoffen steckt. Wie der Produktname schon sagt, handelt es sich um eine Creme. Im Nachhinein wäre mir ein Selbstbräunungsserum lieber gewesen. Das gibt es aber nicht in Naturkosmetik. Die Konsistenz der Lavera Selbstbräunungscreme würde ich eher als hochviskos bezeichnen (also etwas dicker als normale Tagescremes). Ich habe mir jedenfalls schwer getan, mein Gesicht damit gleichmäßig einzucremen. Unabhängig davon konnte ich bereits am Morgen eine leichte (normal wirkende) Bräunung feststellen. Um die Haut gleichmäßig zu bräunen, benötigt man wohl eine gleichmäßige Schicht auf der Haut. Das ist mir nicht ganz gelungen. Den Geruch empfand ich als angenehm aber wegen der (für mich) schwierigen Handhabung nur 4 von 5 Punkten.
