I have to say that this pesto has no bitter aftertaste at all. I like to use it in my Mediterranean pasta salad with a little lemon juice, cherry tomatoes, rocket of course and some mozzarella. Absolutely delicious!

Ich muss sagen, dass dieses Pesto überhaupt keinen bitteren Nachgeschmack hat. Ich verwende es gerne in meinem mediterranen Nudelsalat mit etwas Zitronensaft, Cherrytomaten, natürlich Rucola und etwas Mozzarella. Absolut lecker!

Pesto with rocket is an interesting and tasty change from the typical basil. Before buying, however, you should be aware that the rocket gives the pesto a tart to slightly bitter taste. If that doesn't bother you, you should give it a try. I, for one, find the pesto very tasty. It has an intense flavour of rocket and pine nuts. At the same time, its consistency is nice and creamy. As a highlight, I always add some grated Parmesan cheese to my pasta. It makes the dish taste even better. I can only recommend the pestos from La Selva. They all taste different but always good.

Das Pesto mit Rucola ist eine interessante und schmackhafte Abwechslung zum typischen Basilikum. Man sollte sich vor dem Kauf jedoch darüber im Klaren sein, dass der Rucola dem Pesto einen herben bis leicht bitteren Geschmack verleiht. Wen das nicht stört, der sollte es einmal ausprobieren. Ich jedenfalls finde das Pesto sehr lecker. Es hat einen intensiven Geschmack nach Rucola und Pinienkernen. Dabei ist seine Konsistenz schön cremig. Als Highlight gebe ich auf meine Nudeln immer noch etwas geriebenen Parmesan. Dadurch schmeckt das Gericht noch besser. Kann die Pestos von La Selva nur empfehlen. Sie schmecken alle anders aber immer gut.
