To ensure a long shelf life, the manufacturer recommends brushing the hair with the whole bristle surface. When brushing over the edge, i.e. over the outer row, these bristles are otherwise stressed extremely. After each brushing, remove the hair from the brush with a brush cleaner made of wire. Now and then you can clean the bristles with an organic shampoo. To do this, use a brush cleaner, moisten it with water and shampoo and brush from below through the bristle rows. Then rinse with clear water, dry the wooden body and allow the bristles to dry upside down.
