Kerzenfarm Hahn tealights candles are made of 100% vegetable palm-wax, a renewable vegetable raw material. Palm-wax is extracted from the pulp of oil palm trees, which are mainly cultivated in Indonesia and Malaysia.
- Remove packaging before use.
- Never leave burning candles unattended.
- Do not burn candles within reach of children and pets.
- Do not burn candles on or near flammable objects.
- Always place candles on a fireproof and non-tipping surface.
- If necessary, use a suitable glass or fireproof container, as candles liquefy when burning.
- Always place candles upright.
- Keep a sufficient distance (at least 10 cm) from other burning candles.
- Never place a burning candle next to or under curtains.
- Do not place a burning candle near an open window or in a draught.
- Do not move a burning candle.
- Do not touch a burning candle.
- Avoid direct smoke inhalation.
- Ventilate the room after use.
- Smother the flame. Do not blow out.
- Never use a liquid to extinguish.
- By dipping the burning wick into the liquid wax to extinguish the candle and raising it again immediately, it does not smoulder and is easier to re-light.
- Especially thicker candles should burn at least until the entire wax surface has become liquid.
- Keep the liquid wax free of matches and dirt.
- The wick should be max. 1 cm long. Carefully shorten a longer wick with scissors. Never bend or break off a solidified wick.

: Review date:Top reliable tea lights - hardly any "limp" wicks, super burning time, no soot, minimalist packaging. The 5th star would be without the aluminium sleeve, which unfortunately spoils the overall ecological picture.
Since other affordable (but not prohibitively priced) suppliers offer their tealights either without tubes, but on a paraffin basis, or with plastic tubes on a stearin basis, these are still the tealights of choice for me in everyday life with one laughing and one crying eye.
Top zuverlässige Teelichter - kaum mal "schlappe" Dochte, super Brenndauer, kein Rußen, minimalistisch verpackt. Den 5. Stern gäbe es ohne Aluminium-Hülse, die trübt das ökologische Gesamtbild leider sehr.
Da andere bezahlbare (wohlgemerkt nicht ramschpreisige) Anbieter ihre Teelichter entweder ohne Hülsen, aber auf Paraffinbasis oder mit Plastikhülsen auf Stearinbasis anbieten, sind diese hier für mich dennoch mit einem lachenden und einem weinenden Auge im Alltag die Teelichter der Wahl.

Schöne geruchslose Teelichter. Brennen sauber ohne Ruß und Gestank. Nicht so lang wie herkömmliche, auch etwas teuerer als jene, aber trotzdem zu empfehlen. Haben die Standardgröße und daher gut für Stövchen zu verwenden.

: Review date:Top! The tea lights from Kerzenfarm Hahn fit any standard tea light size and burn almost completely. Fortunately, despite the 48 lights I have used so far, I have not had to make any experiences as described in the review by Ronald S.! Because of this unambiguous verdict, I was a little hesitant about buying these stearin tea lights and can now reassuringly contradict his statement. So far, I have not encountered such a fire hazard, neither in fragrance lamps nor in various tea light containers! Compared to commercial brands, the wick catches fire easily and does not burn to a minimum length after blowing out, as I have known from other candles, but remains well preserved for a further lighting. The burning time is between 4 and 5 hours - so nothing stands in the way of a romantic evening... (with an occasional glance at the tea lights, of course).
Top! Die Teelichter der Kerzenfarm Hahn passen in jede gängige Teelicht-Größe und verbrennen fast vollständig. Glücklicherweise habe ich trotz der bisher verwendeten 48 Lichter keine Erfahrungen, wie in der Bewertung von Ronald S. beschrieben, machen müssen! Denn aufgrund dieses doch eindeutigen Urteils habe mit dem Kauf dieser Stearin Teelichter etwas gehadert und kann seiner Aussage nun beruhigenderweise widersprechen. Weder in Duftlampen noch in verschiedensten Teelicht-Behältern ist mir bisher eine solche Brandgefahr begegnet! Der Docht fängt im Vergleich zu Handelsmarken leicht Feuer und verbrennt nach dem Auspusten nicht bis auf eine Minimumlänge, wie ich es von anderen Kerzen kannte, sondern bleibt für ein weiteres Anzünden gut erhalten. Die Brenndauer beträgt zwischen guten 4 und 5 Stunden - einem romantischen Abend steht von der Beleuchtung her also nichts mehr im Wege... (mit einem ab und zu prüfenden Blick zu den Teelichtern natürlich)

I have explained the following facts to the manufacturer by e-mail about three weeks ago, but I have not (yet) received an answer. Basically, there seems to be no problem as long as you let the candles burn in an open container. However, if you use them in a fragrance lamp, they should not be left unattended and you should keep an eye on them from time to time. In the meantime, it has happened to me with two out of 15 tea lights that the liquefied stearin completely catches fire (it is no longer just the wick that burns, but the entire aluminium bowl containing the wax, so to speak).
On the one hand, this can quickly cause the fragrance lamp to burst (higher temperature for which it is not designed), but in the worst case it can even lead to an uncontrolled house fire. You should also refrain from trying to extinguish with water, if you use the product, it is best to have a small container with sand nearby, so you should be on the safer side.
After the unpleasant surprise, I looked again at the explanations here and on the package, but I didn't find any indication that the product should not be used in combination with fragrance lamps. For this obvious defect, I can't even award one point, but that's as good as it gets.
Vorsicht bei Duftlampen!
Ich hab den folgenden Sachverhalt schon vor ca. drei Wochen dem Hersteller per Mail dargelegt, darauf aber (noch) keine Antwort erhalten. Grundsätzlich scheint es kein Problem zu geben, solange man die Kerzen in einem offenen Gefäß abbrennen lässt. Setzt man sie in einer Duftlampe ein, sollte man sie aber keinesfalls unbeobachtet lassen und mitunter einen Blick darauf haben. Mittlerweile ist es mir nämlich schon bei zwei von 15 Teelichtern passiert, dass das verflüssigte Stearin komplett Feuer fängt (es brennt nicht mehr nur der Docht allein, sondern das gesamte Alu-Schälchen, in dem sich das Wachs befindet, sozusagen).
Das kann einerseits schnell dazu führen, dass die Duftlampe zerspringt (größere Temperatur, für die sie nicht ausgelegt ist), schlimmstenfalls aber sogar zu einem unkontrollierten Wohnungsbrand. Auch sollte man Abstand davon nehmen, mit Wasser löschen zu wollen, setzt man das Produkt ein, am Besten einen kleinen Behälter mit Sand in der Nähe stehen haben, damit sollte man auf der sichereren Seite sein.
Ich hab mir nach der unfreudigen Überraschung auch nochmals die Erläuterungen hier sowie auf der Packung angesehen, aber tatsächlich nirgends einen Hinweis gefunden, das Produkt nicht in Verbindung mit Duftlampen einzusetzen. Für diesen offensichtlichen Mangel kann ich entsprechend eigentlich noch nicht mal einen Punkt vergeben, aber weniger geht nicht.
