Do not burn candles on or near flammable objects.
Always place candles on a fireproof and non-tipping surface.
If necessary, use a suitable glass or fireproof container, as candles liquefy when burning.
Always place candles upright.
Keep a sufficient distance (at least 10 cm) from other burning candles.
Never place a burning candle next to or under curtains.
Do not place a burning candle near an open window or in a draught.
Do not move a burning candle.
Do not touch a burning candle.
Avoid direct smoke inhalation.

By dipping the burning wick into the liquid wax to extinguish the candle and raising it again immediately, it does not smoulder and is easier to re-light.
Especially thicker candles should burn at least until the entire wax surface has become liquid.
Keep the liquid wax free of matches and dirt.
The wick should be max. 1 cm long. Carefully shorten a longer wick with scissors. Never bend or break off a solidified wick.
If a rim remains too high, please cut it off carefully with scissors while the candle is still warm.
