: Review date:They really do taste just as delicious as they look. However, the chocolate melts immediately. So you shouldn't hold them too long. But because the wafers belong in the mouth and not in the hand anyway, that's not really a point of criticism.
Die schmecken wirklich genau so lecker, wie sie aussehen. Allerdings schmilzt die Schokolade sofort. Man sollte sie also nicht zulange festhalten. Aber weil die Waffeln eh in den Mund und nicht in die Hand gehören, ist das kein echter Kritikpunkt.

: Review date:Discovered in the local shop & took them despite concerns about the cravings & cardboardiness - caramel was the trigger word ;-).
And wei, these waffles ARE delicious! :-)
For me, a Knoppers lover from my childhood, Kastner has a product similar to the Stork wafer sweet stuff, but discreetly less sweet, in organic quality and without any nuts. Now you realise how lax conventional industrial nuts are ;-)
And now comes the "but": 2.3 of the small chocolate-coated wafers can be eaten without getting a headache - despite three appetising ingredients (corn syrup, vanilla, soya lecithin).
"Just a quick candy, dinner's almost ready!" - so yesterday 2/3 of the contents went down "wonderfully" with 2 people. That doesn't happen to us, at least not without or with only one of the above ingredients, not even when we're hungry. Especially vanilla & soy lecithin in combination seem to work synergistically with each other, at least according to our long experience as chocolate lovers.
So these waffles are more for dessert than for a quick "little treat" on an empty stomach.
It's a pity that appetising ingredients are used here, especially in "concentrated form" (see above). With (organic) chocolate it is also possible without lecithin or at least with sunflower lecithin, in our experience without the craving effect - the Weinrich company (Vivani & Co) has been demonstrating this for years.
And yes, you basically have a will of your own - but appetite stimulants can play tricks on you. The ones mentioned here are of course "nothing" against monosodium glutamate & co. but still have their effect.
To cut a long story short: I'll certainly buy them again, but they won't be a permanent fixture in our appetiser drawer. And if you're hungry, we'll give it a wide berth in future.
Im lokalen Handel entdeckt & trotz Bedenken bzgl. Jieper & Pappigkeit mitgenommen - Caramel war das Trigger-Wort. ;-)
Und wei, SIND diese Waffeln lecker! :-)
Für mich als Knoppers-Liebhaberin von Kindheitstagen gibts hier von Kastner ein dem storkschen Waffel-Süßkram ähnliches Produkt in dezent weniger süß, dazu in Bio-Qualität & das ganz ohne Nüsse. Da merkt man mal, wie lasch konventionelle Industrie-Nüsse sind. ;-)
Und jetzt kommt das "Aber": Zum Schnuckern gehen vom den kleinen schoko-ummantelten Waffeln 2,3 Stück, ohne dass man einen kopflosen Jieper bekommt - trotz gleich drei appetitanregend wirkender Zutaten (Maissirup, Vanille, Sojalecithin).
"Nur mal kurz ein Zuckerl, Essen ist ja gleich fertig!" - so gingen denn gestern 2/3 des Inhalts auch "wunderbar" runter mit 2 Leuten. Das passiert uns zumindest ohne oder mit nur einer der o.g. Zutaten nicht, auch nicht mit Hunger. Vor allem Vanille & Sojalecithin in Kombination scheinen synergetisch miteinander zu wirken, so zumindest unsere langjährige Erfahrung als Schokoladen-Liebhaber.
Also sind diese Waffeln eher was zum Nachtisch denn zum schnell mal ein "kleines Zuckerl" mit eher leerem Magen essen.
Schade, dass hier auf appetitanregende Zutaten gesetzt wird, zumal gleich in "geballter Ladung" (siehe oben). Bei (Bio-)Schokolade gehts ja auch ohne Lecithin oder zumindest mit Sonnenblumenlecithin, unserer Erfahrung nach dann ohne Jieper-Effekt - die Fa. Weinrich (Vivani & Co) machts seit Jahren vor.
Und ja, man hat grundlegend einen eigenen Willen - den können Appetitanreger aber gar wunderbar übertölpeln. Die hier genannten sind natürlich "nichts" gegen Mononatriumglutamat & Co., haben aber dennoch ihre Wirkung.
Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Wird sicher nochmal wieder gekauft, aber kein Dauergast in unserer Schnucker-Schublade. Und mit Hunger wird zukünftig ein großer Bogen drum gemacht.
