I was on holiday and had a biomass firelighter with me for the first time. To be on the safe side, I also had the conventional one. But I didn't need it because it does a good job. It burns well and for a long time, so the logs caught fire quickly and the bungalow was warm. What's more, it doesn't stink.

War im Urlaub und hatte das erste Mal einen Feueranzünder aus Biomasse mit. Sicherheitshalber auch den herkömmlichen. Brauchte ich aber nicht, da er einen guten Job macht. Brennt lange und gut, so dass die Holzscheite schnell Feuer fingen und der Bungalow ordentlich warm war. Zudem stinkt es nicht.

A few months ago, I had finally had enough of our smelly, poisonous barbecue lighters. That can't be healthy, I thought to myself. While researching for environmentally friendly and non-harmful lighters, I came across this product. I ordered it and tried it out straight away. The result: the cubes of wood and vegetable oil are easy to light and ignite even the thin wood in the stove well. And the best thing is that they don't stink, but smell completely neutral. With these firelighters I now have a much better feeling than before. And next summer we'll try them out for a barbecue.

Ich hatte vor einigen Monaten endgültig die Nase voll von unseren stinkenden, giftigen Grillanzündern. Das kann ja nicht gesund sein, dachte ich mir. Bei meiner Recherche nach umweltverträglichen und nicht gesundheitsschädlichen Anzündern bin ich dann auf dieses Produkt gestoßen. Habe es bestellt und auch gleich ausprobiert. Ergebnis: Die Würfel aus Holz und Pflanzenöl lassen sich einfach anzünden und entfachen auch die dünnen Hölzchen im Ofen gut. Und das Beste ist, sie stinken nicht, sondern riechen ganz neutral. Mit diesen Feueranzündern habe ich nun ein viel besseres Gefühl als vorher. Und im nächsten Sommer werden wir sie auch einmal beim Grillen testen.
