Somehow I was looking forward to this honey, as I got to know sweet chestnut honey on holiday and was thrilled. But I think this one from Hoyer is a bit mild, not as spicy as I remember it. It's been a while since my holiday, but I think it's a bit weak on the chest.

Irgendwie habe ich mich auf den Honig gefreut, da ich Edelkastanienhonig im Urlaub kennengelernt habe und begeistert war. Doch ist dieser hier von Hoyer, so finde ich, etwas mild, nicht so würzig, wie ich ihn in Erinnerung habe. Ist zwar schon ein Stück her mit dem Urlaub aber ich denke, er ist etwas schwach auf der Brust.

I love to eat chestnut honey because I like the strong aroma. This one is perfect for me: slightly bitter, very spicy and the red-brown colour is also very nice. Since I live alone, the portion size is perfect for me and the price is right - what more could you want?

Ich esse am liebsten Kastanienhonig, weil ich das kräftiges Aroma so gerne mag. Dieser hier ist für mich perfekt: leicht bitter, sehr würzig und die rot-braune Farbe ist auch sehr schön. Da ich allein lebe, ist die Portionsgröße für mich auch optimal und der Preis stimmt auch- was will man mehr.
