By law, baby and toddler food must not contain preservatives or artificial flavourings. Holle goes one step further. Holle organic infant formula also contains no granulated sugar, salt, spices or flavourings of any kind. Biodiversity is an important foundation of our planet. The genetic diversity of plant and insect species creates natural habitats that ultimately provide us with food. Holle is aware of its dependence on an intact natural environment and recognises the importance of a balanced plant and insect world: without pollination, there would be no fruit or vegetables. Each species is unique and valuable. If a species dies out, it is lost forever. Our descendants should also experience the fascination of a diverse environment. High-quality Demeter grain from biodynamic farming or grain from organic farming is used for Holle cereal-based foods and Holle milk porridge. Biodynamic farming favours particularly fertile and healthy soils in the long term.
