Holle Organic Infant Formula 1. Suitable for the use from birth if replacing or in addition to breast milk. Can be used at any time instead of Holle Organic Infant Formula PRE or another baby formula. After the 6th month, the manufacturer recommends Holle Organic Infant Follow-on Formula 2 in combination with Holle Baby Porridges.

The quantities of daily feeding are shown for guidance only. Minor deviations are perfectly safe.
  
Preparation:
Sterilize bottle, teat and ring in boiling water for 3-5 minutes before use. Boil the water and allow to cool to approx. 50 °C. Pour approx. half of the cooled water and formula powder as indicated in the table (see above) into the bottle. Fill the measuring scoop and level with the back of a knife. Shake thoroughly. Add the rest of the cooled boiled water and shake again. Allow to cool to approx. 37 °C before feeding.

Standard preparation: 13.5 g Holle Organic Infant Formula 1 + 90 ml boiled water = 100 ready-to-drink formula. One packet contains approx. 30 meals of 100 ml each.

Preparation guidelines:
Please take care to follow the preparation instructions exactly. Only use the provided measuring spoon. Do not change proportions of powder except on medical advice. Incorrect preparation and storage may result in damage to health. Always prepare bottles fresh. Do not re-use leftovers. Do not warm up milk in the microwave (danger of overheating).

Important notes:
A mother’s milk is the most natural and beneficial nourishment for a baby – including all nutrients and vitamins needed. That is why Holle recommends breastfeeding. In addition, the intense contact between a mother and child during breastfeeding promotes feelings of harmony and comfort. The manufacturer Holle recommends you talk to a health professional, such as your doctor, midwife or health visitor, about the importance of breastfeeding. Do not allow your baby to suck on its bottle continuously, to prevent possible damage to teeth, pay special attention to your baby's dental hygiene once his or her first tooth has come through.

We put our babe on the Holle organic goats milk formula to see if it would help with his eczema. His eczema cleared but we also started a new cream during that time. So we decided to trial our babe back on a cows milk formula since it’s cheaper than the goats. I was happy to have the option to use Holle’s cows milk organic infant formula with ingredients I could actually understand. I didn’t want to start using North American formula after seeing how Holles formula is a nice smelling, frothy, creamy and white milk that my baby loved. But my husband didn’t love the price of the goats milk. He was on the cows milk formula for 3 weeks and his eczema came back. We switched back to the Holle goats based formula and it was cleared within 4 days. So glad I found something that actually cleared his eczema and I feel good about feeding this formula to him.

I don't usually write product reviews but for Holle i'll make an exception. I like that the milk used in the formula comes from cows raised on biodynamic farms. There the cows receive a good treatment and are not as stressed out as other cows in conventional big farms. I think this has a very positiv influence on the formula as well, which is why we choose Holle.

Long story short, i decided to give holle a try after recommendation from baby chiropractor. Since my first adjust commercial brand formula really well, we were going to stick with another product. But baby was so painful and gassy. so we give it a try, the product helped with his digestion so much, its a lot better now. Note, it did cost a bit constipation at first, took about 1 month for him. he would not go up to 3-4 days when we made the switch at first. I am thinking switching to holle goat version since he is still a bit gassy with this one.

A very good alternative for my child, as I cannot breastfeed. It's a milk formula without sugar, artificial additives, flavours or any chemicals. It's clear that it can't compete with breast milk, but if breastfeeding doesn't work, then Holle can.

Holle organic infant formula 1 is a good substitute for breast milk:) I know breast milk is the best for babies but sometimes we just cant do it. Don't be too frustrated! My baby s been drinking HOLLE for weeks and she is doing well. No constipation and less gas. Highly recommended! But I do hope HOLLE organic infant formula 1 would be packed in a tin:) x
