Hipp Organic Infant Formula 1

From birth onwards

Hipp Organic Infant Formula 1. Well filling due to the composition. Contains selected mild starch in contrast to Hipp PRE Bio. From birth as a sole food or to be fed in addition to breast milk. Following a PRE food or any other infant formula. Like breast milk, can be given as needed - as often and as much as your baby wants to drink.
Preparation: 
Follow the instructions for use carefully when preparing the food. Improper preparation or storage over a longer period of time can lead to health impairments, e.g. through the growth of undesirable germs. Therefore, prepare food freshly before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Close the opened bag tightly, store it in a dry place at room temperature and use it up within 3 weeks. Do not heat the food in the microwave (risk of scalding).
  1. Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°- 50°C*.
  2. Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see table) into a bottle. 
  3. Measure the recommended amount of powder (see table). Fill measuring spoon loosely and wipe off. Add the powder to the water. 
  4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously several times.
  5. Cool down to drinking temperature approx. 37°C. Check temperature, e.g. with HiPP thermometer. 

Drinking quantity and dosage: 
The amount of water per bottle may vary from individual to individual. Recommended amounts and number of bottles per day are guidelines. Your baby does not necessarily have to drink the entire bottle. 
Please only use the enclosed measuring spoon! One measuring spoon of powder corresponds to 30 ml of water.

Breastfeeding is best for your baby. Please talk to your clinic or paediatrician if you want to use an infant formula.
Like breast milk, all infant formulas contain carbohydrates. They are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or prolonged contact of the teeth with liquids containing carbohydrates can lead to tooth decay, which can affect the baby's health. Do not let your child suck on the bottle continuously and let the baby drink from the cup as early as possible.
