Grünspecht Organic Flaxseed Pillow Bear. The square pillow with flaxseed filling is a traditional home remedy for soothing heat applications. Not just for babies but also for the whole family. The small pillow with a smiling bear motif can be soothing in case of stomach pains, stomach cramps, bloating or colds. The removable inner pillow can be easily heated in the microwave or oven. The cover made of cotton as well as the inner flaxseed filling are from certified organic farming. The cover is washable. Size: about 13 x 13 cm.

Usage and Heating Instructions

Remove the internal pillow from the cover for being heated up.

There are several methods to heat up the pillow:

in an oven that is not preheated, for max. 3 minutes at a max. temperature of 110 °C
in a microwave at the lowest or medium setting for defrosting (max. 180 Watt!), for a max. of 1 minute (Follow the instructions of the microwave manufacturer!)
place on a hand-warm radiator or tiled stove for a longer period of time

Shake the pillow immediately after heating to evenly distribute the

heat in the pillow! Subsequently insert the pillow into the cover.

Moisture may appear on the surface of the pillow, when it is

heated up for the first time, which will however disappear with

repeated applications.

Attention! Important Safety Information!

Please observe the above directions on heating the pillow, as a longer heating time or higher temperatures may cause damage (risk of inflammation)! Do not heat up the cover! Always supervise the heating process of the pillow and do not heat the pillow when moist! After having replaced the heated up internal pillow in the cover, check the temperature of the pillow for it being suitable for babies (max. 43 °C), by applying it to the crook of your arm! Let the pillow cool down before reheating it! Heat should not be applied in case of an acute inflammatory disease or an illness accompanied by a temperature, eczema, heart and artery disease, tumours, cancer and for persons with a reduced sensation of pain!

Ensure that the seams are always intact when using flax seed products for babies and toddlers! Loose flax seeds are a choking and suffocation hazard! Only use under direct supervision of an adult! If the product is used for babies under 1 year of age, the child‘s temperature should be checked regularly during the application to avoid overheating!

Care Advice and Storage

The cover can be removed and is machine-washable at 40 °C. Kindly observe the care symbols at the product. Do not wash the internal pillow filled with flax seed, in order to avoid the formation of rot/mould.
