A real delicacy! Anyone who loves the unique flavour of saffron and doesn't like it too sweet will love these little "bites".

I have tried my way through the different types of laddu from Govinda - all of them are delicious and vegan! But I would have imagined a bit more "saffron" in this chickpea snack. For me, the saffron laddu has only a very subtle note and tastes similar to the coconut laddu, only less intensely of coconut. The sweetness is very pleasant and the size is, like the other laddus, a half moon with a diameter of about 2cm. A perfect size for snacking... ;-)

Ich habe mich durch die verschiedenen Laddu-Sorten von Govinda einmal durchprobiert - alle sind umwerfend köstlich und vegan! Doch ich hätte mir ein bisschen mehr "Safran" in diesem Kichererbsen-Snack vorgestellt. Für mich hat das Safran-Laddu nur eine sehr dezente Note und schmeckt ähnlich wie das Kokos-Laddu, nur weniger intensiv nach Kokos. Die Süße ist sehr angenehm und die Größe ist wie auch bei den anderen Laddus ein Halbmond mit circa 2cm Durchmesser. Eine perfekte Größe zum Naschen... ;-)
