: Review date:The shredded fruit pulp of the jackfruit from Govinda really surprised me in a positive way! It is not "shredded" as you might know it from the animal variety, but has more of a minced meat-like consistency - i.e. chopped into small pieces. The pieces are maroon in colour and the contents of the bag are enough for one and a half servings. Since you can season the jackfruit pulp to your liking, I think this is a super vegan alternative and you should definitely try it in this version!
Das geschnetzelte Fruchtfleisch der Jackfrucht von Govinda hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht! Es ist auch nicht "Geschnetzeltes", wie man es vielleicht von der tierischen Variante her kennt, sondern hat eher eine Hackfleisch-ähnliche Konsistenz - also klein gehäxelt. Die Stückchen haben eine kastanienbraune Farbe und der Beutelinhalt reicht für anderthalb Portionen. Da man das Jackfruit-Fruchtfleisch nach Belieben würzen kann, finde ich das eine super vegane Alternative und sollte man in dieser Variante definitiv einmal probiert haben!

: Review date:I've already used the fruit pulp shreds once for bolognese and once for lasagne. The consistency is nice, but I don't think the jack fruit can compete with soy cutlets.
Hab die Fruchtfleisch Schnetzel jetzt schon einmal für Bolognese und einmal für Lasagne verwendet. Die Konsistenz ist schön, mit Soja-Geschnetzeltem kann die Jack-Frucht aber meiner Meinung nach nicht mithalten.
