I wanted to treat myself to a special taste experience. That's why I ordered the chocolate with Fleur de Sel. Unfortunately, it didn't have the effect I had hoped for. The chocolate as such tastes good, but that special something was missing for me. So I have to keep trying.

Ich wollte mir mal ein besonderes Geschmackserlebnis gönnen. Deshalb habe ich mir die Schokolade mit Fleur de Sel bestellt. Leider ist es für mich nicht der erhoffte Effekt. Die Schokolade als solches schmeckt gut, aber das Besondere blieb für mich aus. So muss ich weiter probieren.

The salt-chocolate combination, often with caramel, has become a trend and is no longer unknown. Delicious and fair, that's what I look for in a chocolate and that's what I find here. Besides the many other chocolates here in the shop, I was particularly impressed by this one and will now order a few more bars. Thank you :)

Die Salz-Schoko Kombi, oft mit Karamell, ist ja inzwischen schon Trend und nicht mehr ganz so unbekannt. Lecker und fair, das suche ich bei einer Schokolade und finde es hier. Neben den anderen vielen Schokoladen hier im Shop hat mich vor allem diese begeistert und ich werde jetzt gleich nochmal ein paar Tafeln davon bestellen. Danke :)

After trying an Icelandic chocolate with caramel and salt crystals, I was very excited about the unusual combination of chocolate and salt and was happy to find a similar chocolate here. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The chocolate was much too sweet for me and there are no coarse salt crystals in it, but it tastes slightly salty overall, but rather unharmonious and the aftertaste was unpleasant. Definitely not a variety I would buy again.

Nachdem ich eine isländische Schokolade mit Karamell und Salzkristallen probiert hatte, war ich schwer begeistert von der ungewöhnlichen Kombination Schokolade und Salz und habe mich gefreut hier eine ähnliche Schokolade gefunden zu haben. Leider wurde ich dann ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Schokolade war mir viel zu süß und es finden sich nicht grobe Salzkristalle darin, sondern es schmeckt insgesamt leicht salzig, aber eher unharmonisch und der Nachgeschmack war unangenehm. Auf jeden keine Sorte, die ich noch mal kaufen würde.

Oh my god. It's delicious! I'm usually more into vegan food. This one was given to me once and since then I can't resist ;-). It is simply worth the "sin" for me. And that even though I'm not such a decidedly "sweet" person.

Oh mein Gott. Ist die LECKER! Ich bin normalerweise eher auf vegane Lebensmittel ausgerichtet. Diese wurde mir mal geschenkt und seither kann ich nicht widerstehen ;-). Sie ist mir die "Sünde" einfach wert. Und das obwohl ich gar nicht so eine ausgesprochen "Süße" bin.

Very, very tasty - Gepa Chocolat Fleur de Sel. As I like this chocolate very much, I did an intensive price comparison and found it particularly cheap here. Also important: almost one year shelf life, well packaged and fresh.

When I saw the chocolate for the first time, I thought about whether something like this could really taste good. But since I am a person who likes to try things out, I ordered it and tried it. And I have to say I was astonishingly surprised: somewhat exotic, but definitely good. With Gepa chocolate, you can at least be sure that the farmers have received their fair price. And the price is justified! So if you want to try something in this direction, you should definitely try Gepa chocolate.

Als ich die Schokolade das erste Mal gesehen habe, dachte ich darüber nach ob so etwas wirklich schmecken kann. Da ich allerdings ein probierfreudiger Mensch bin, habe ich sie mir bestellt und probiert. Und ich muss sagen ich war erstaunlich überrascht: Etwas exotisch, aber durchaus gut. Bei einer Gepa-Schokolade kann man sich wenigstens sicher sein, dass die Bauern auch ihren fairen Preis erhalten haben. Da ist auch der Preis berechtigt! Wer also auch mal etwas in dieser Richtung ausprobieren möchte, sollte auf jeden Fall die Gepa Schokolade probieren.

If you like sweet and salty food, you will love this chocolate. I had never eaten such an unusual chocolate before. But it is worth it. The first bite is rather salty, the second becomes sweet. The chocolate is ideal if you've had all the other flavours and are looking for something special. It also has the advantage that you don't eat a lot of it because of the unusual taste. You don't have the craving for something sweet that you usually get from chocolate. I will definitely continue to buy it and advise every chocolate lover to jump over his shadow and try it.

Wer gerne süß-salzig isst, der wird die Schokolade lieben. Ich hatte noch nie eine so außergewöhnliche Schokolade gegessen. Aber es lohnt sich. Der erste Biss ist eher salzig, der zweite wird dann süß. Ideal ist die Schokolade, wenn man alle anderen Geschmackssorten durch hat und das Besondere sucht. Zudem hat sie den Vorteil, dass man durch den außergewöhnlichen Geschmack keine große Menge davon isst. Man hat nicht diesen großen Heißhunger auf etwas Süßes, wie man es sonst von Schokolade kennt. Ich kaufe sie auf jeden Fall weiter und rate jedem Schokofreund über seinen Schatten zu springen und sie zu probieren.

Daring, I thought when I read the product description at Violey. Chocolate and salt crystals? Sweet and salty? Would that go together? Well, curiosity finally won out and I ordered a bar of Gepa Fleur de Sel on a trial basis. The chocolate arrived, as always with Violey, the next day with my order and I immediately tried a piece. I must say I was very sceptical at first, but the chocolate convinced me. At first, it takes a bit of getting used to tasting the combination of sweet and sour on your tongue, but somehow the two components combine to create something particularly delicious. I now regularly order a bar of the fair-trade chocolate.

Gewagt, dachte ich, als ich die Produktbeschreibung bei Violey las. Schokolade und Salzkristalle? Süß und salzig? Ob das zusammen passt? Naja, die Neugier hatte schließlich gesiegt und ich habe mir versuchsweise eine Tafel Gepa Fleur de Sel bestellt. Die Schokolade kam, wie immer bei Violey, am nächsten Tag mit meiner Bestellung und ich habe sofort ein Stück versucht. Ich muss sagen ich war zunächst sehr skeptisch, aber die Schokolade hat mich dann doch überzeugt. Es ist zunächst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig die Kombination von süß und sauer auf der Zunge zu schmecken, aber irgendwie vereinen sich die beiden Komponenten zu etwas ganz besonders Leckerem. Mittlerweile bestelle ich regelmäßig eine Tafel der fairgehandelten Schokolade mit.
