The combination of herbs and spices provides a Mediterranean, slightly spicy and savoury taste. The gyros seasoning can be used in a variety of ways, for marinating meat, for vegetable gyros or as a seasoning for yoghurt dips.

Marinade for meat: Mix 23 tbsp of the spice mix with 2 tbsp of olive oil and the juice of half a lemon. Add the meat (e.g. pork, chicken or lamb) and marinate for at least 1 hour, ideally overnight.
For vegetable gyros: Mix the spice mix with olive oil and pour over sliced vegetables such as peppers, onions or mushrooms.
Toppings: Can be used as a sprinkling seasoning for ready-made gyros or as a seasoning for yoghurt dips.

Ingredients:

Onions*, garlic*, rock salt, marjoram*, oregano*, sweet paprika*, parsley*, black pepper*.
