Fontaine Premium Sardines, natural in their own juice. The shoaling fish are located using echo sounders on small boats and then caught with large-mesh ring nets. The large meshes allow young fish (less than one year old) to escape so that they can reproduce at least once. The sardines in their own juice are ready to eat and suitable for heating. Just right for an Italian antipasti platter with a few onion rings, frisée salad or tomato quarters. Sardine tapas with black olives and peppers are reminiscent of a holiday in Spain.
