Followfood Tinned Tuna Naturell. This real bonito tuna comes from one of the probably most sustainable tuna fisheries known: the pole & line fishery in the Maldives. Tuna have been caught here individually using a (bamboo) fishpole for as many as 900 years. The drip-off weight is 130g. Pole & line fishing is one of the most sustainable and most selective fishing methods known. Small boats with a crew of about ten search for shoals according to the old method (they look out for bird flocks that go hunting together with tuna) and catch them using fishpoles as soon as a shoal is detected. Pole & line fishing forms a sharp contrast to industrial fishing that destroys the environment.

I usually buy tuna from the supermarket. It's cheap and tastes good. At least until now. But since I tried the tuna fillet from Followfish at a friend's house, my opinion has changed. It's better to spend a few cents more, but you get top quality. Really really delicious!

Normalerweise kaufe ich Thunfisch im Supermarkt. Ist billig und schmeckt. Jedenfalls bis jetzt. Doch seit ich das Thunfischfilet von Followfish bei Freunden probiert habe, hat sich meine Meinung geändert. Lieber ein paar Cent mehr ausgeben, dafür hat man aber eine 1a Qualität. For us, the best tuna ever. It tastes very very good and the size is perfect, whether for pizza or spaghetti sauce or whatever. What is also immensely important for us: it is fished!!!!!
This is also environmental and nature conservation for us and for that the price is absolutely justified! I will order it here again and again. And then always at least 5 cans, which will last for about 2 months..... At last I can eat tuna again without a guilty conscience!

Für uns der beste Thunfisch aller Zeiten. Er schmeckt sehr sehr gut und die Größe ist perfekt, egal, ob für Pizza oder Spagettisauce oder für was auch immer. Was für uns auch immens wichtig ist: Er wird geangelt!!!!!
Auch das ist für uns Umwelt- und Naturschutz und dafür ist der Preis absolut gerechtfertigt! Ich werde ihn hier immer wieder bestellen. Und dann immer mind. 5 Dosen, welche dann so um die 2 Monate reichen..... Endlich wieder Thunfisch ohne schlechtes Gewissen essen!!!

They also have a great flavour of their own. I either add the tuna to my salad or eat it straight from the can in the evening in front of the TV with a fork. There is also a code printed on each package that allows you to transparently track the origin and catch method. Followfish tuna is actually still fished with the original rod. Delicious and sustainable, what more could you want? I no longer buy any other. A real showcase product.

Ein sehr guter Thunfisch aus besonders nachhaltiger Fischerei. Ich esse ihn besonders gerne im eigenen Saft, da dabei der Geschmack nicht so verfälscht wird. Die Filets sind schön groß und sehr saftig. Sie haben zudem einen tollen Eigengeschmack. Der Thunfisch kommt bei mir entweder in den Salat oder ich nasche ihn abends vor dem Fernseher, mit einer Gabel, direkt aus der Dose. Auf jeder Packung ist zudem ein Code aufgedruckt, mit dem man Herkunft und Fangmethode transparent nachverfolgen kann. Der Followfish Thun wird tatsächlich noch original mit der Rute geangelt. Lecker und nachhaltig, was will man mehr? Ich kaufe keinen anderen mehr. Ein echtes Vorzeigeprodukt.
