Fairtrade Original Jasmine Rice. From Surin North-Eastern Thailand. Because jasmine rice develops a pleasant floral aroma when cooked, it is also known as fragrant rice. In contrast to basmati rice, jasmine rice has a rather soft, slightly sticky grain.

Application:

Put the rice in a pan with plenty of boiling water. Add salt to taste. As soon at the water boils, turn the heat down low. Put a lid on the pan at let it simmer for 10 min. Drain the rice and leave in the pan for 8-10 min. Loosen the rice before serving.

Preparation in microwave (700 Watt)
125 g rice with 275 ml water for 12 min.
