Fairtrade Original Basmati Rice. From Northern India. This basmati rice is grown in the plains south of the Himalayas. The remarkable influences of the mountains can clearly be felt. The unique composition of the soil give this rice its completely unique flavour and aroma.

Application:
Put the rice in a pan with plenty of boiling water. Add salt to taste. As soon at the water boils, turn the heat down low. Put a lid on the pan at let it simmer for 10 min. Drain the rice and leave in the pan for 8-10 min. Loosen the rice before serving.
Preparation in microwave (700 Watt)
125 g rice with 275 ml water for 12 min.
