Vegan BBQ-style patties with smoky paprika

ErdmannHAUSER Organic BBQ Spelt Burger. Vegan ready-mix for making approx. 4 spelt patties with spices. For the BBQ spelt patties, ErdmannHAUSER combines locally sourced spelt with a harmoniously balanced blend of spices. This creates a variety of savoury and smoky flavours.
Preparation
  1. Gently fry the contents of the packet in 1 tbsp oil.
  2. Add 240 ml water and bring to the boil briefly, stirring continuously.
  3. Set the pan aside and leave to soak for 15 minutes with the lid on.
  4. Knead the mixture thoroughly and, with damp hands, shape into 4 patties.
  5. Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan and fry the patties over a medium heat on both sides until crispy.
Tip: Enjoy the patties in a burger bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, gherkins, jalapeños and BBQ sauce.
