Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Liquid Soap 18-in-1 Lavender in the trial size to test out the product. The concentrated liquid soap includes organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, organic jojoba oil and other oils as a base recipe. Organic lavender essential oil unfolds an unmistakable scent.
Dr. Bronner has recommended 18 applications for this soap. But it can do much more. Here are the most popular tips for use:
  • Face: Moisten the face with water, lather 5 drops of soap in the hand and massage in with circular movements.
  • Shower: Foam up a small amount of soap in your hand like shower gel and massage into the skin.
  • Hair: Foam up a small amount of soap in your hand  as you would with shampoo. Dr. Bronner recommends using conditioner afterwards.
  • Wet shave: Foam up a few drops of soap with water. The velvety shaving foam is great for face and body.
  • Bath additive: 2 tablespoons of soap are sufficient for a relaxing full bath. Add 2 tbsp olive oil for extra care.

Since I have already read many positive reviews about the Dr. Bronner soaps, I first bought the trial size. I am satisfied with the lavender soap. It smells very strongly of lavender, which I like. I don't use it for showering anymore because my skin was very dry after two showers. Since there is no indication of how much the concentrated soap should be diluted (... it is already very "greasy"), I stopped using it. Since then, I prefer to use the soap to wash my hands and to clean my cosmetic brushes. If anyone knows in which ratio the soap is diluted, please let me know.

Da ich schon sehr viele positive Rezensionen zu den Dr. Bronner Seifen gelesen habe, habe ich mir erstmal die Probiergröße gekauft. Mit der Lavendelseife bin ich an sich zufrieden. Sie riecht sehr stark nach Lavendel, was ich aber gerne mag. Zum Duschen verwende ich sie nicht mehr, da meine Haut nach 2-mal duschen sehr stark ausgetrocknet war. Da auch keine Angabe zu finden ist, wie stark die konzentrierte Seife verdünnt werden muss (... sie "schmiert" schon sehr stark), hab ich es dann sein lassen. Seitdem verwende ich die Seife bevorzugt zum Händewaschen und reinige meine Kosmetikpinsel damit. Falls jemand weiß in welchem Verhältnis die Seife verdünnt wird, dann bitte gerne Infos dazu.
