Make It Yourself 3 Reusable Food Wraps Beeswax. Set for 3 pieces of beeswax cotton wraps. The natural alternative to cling film and plastic bags made of cotton and beeswax. Hand heat makes them flexible and malleable. They are suitable for covering bowls and jars, for packaging cut fruit and vegetables, cheese, bread and snacks without plastic, for transporting and also for freezing. Without harmful inks and softeners. 1 pack contains 3 cloths made of cotton with the measurements (40 x 40 cm).

Preparation

 

1. Set the temperature on the iron to the lowest setting and heat. Place one piece of parchment paper on a table or countertop then put one cloth on it.
2. Spread 1/3 of the beeswax pieces evenly on the cloth making sure they are on the edges too. Place another piece of parchment paper on top of the cloth with beeswax pieces.
3. Begin carefully ironing over the paper. After a few minutes the beeswax will start to melt.(Adjust the temperature if it is taking too long). Keep ironing until all the beeswax has melted and the cloth is completely covered with molten beeswax. Repeat this with the other two cloths to make a total of 3 wraps.
4. Next place the three wraps on top of each other and another piece of parchment paper on top. Iron the wraps again to evenly distribute all the beeswax.
5. Remove the wraps from each other (you will see that the cloth is no longer visible, the beeswax covers both sides of the cloth). Finally hang the three wraps until they are completely dry.
