To preserve the menthol aroma, I recommend putting the tabs in an airtight tin or glass. If you find the flavour too pungent, you can simply leave them open for a few days.
Ich bin begeistert von den Tabs. Zwar ist es erstmal gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass es weniger schäumt als bei herkömmlicher Zahnpasta, aber das Putzergebnis ist super. Damit das Mentholaroma erhalten bleibt, empfehle ich die Tabs in eine luftdichte Dose oder ein Glas umzufüllen. Wem der Geschmack zu scharf ist, der kann sie demnach einfach ein paar Tage offen stehen lassen.

: Review date:The thought of less plastic waste prompted me to try these toothbrush tablets. After initial difficulties, I have now got the hang of it and am happy with the result. There is not such a thick foam as with toothpaste, but rather a kind of liquid gel, which is good for brushing. It tastes very minty, but I like it.
All in all, a great idea.
Mich hat der Gedanke an weniger Plastikmüll dazu veranlasst, diese Zahnputztabletten zu probieren. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten habe ich inzwischen den Dreh raus und bin mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden. Es gibt keinen so dicken Schaum wie bei Zahncreme, sondern eher eine Art flüssiges Gel, mit dem sich aber gut putzen lässt. Schmeckt sehr minzig, mag ich aber.
Alles in allem eine tolle Idee.

Ich habe diese Zahnputztabletten bestellt weil ich für Reisen eine Alternative zur Zahnpasta gesucht habe. Die Tabletten kann man einfach mitnehmen und sie benötigen nicht viel Platz. Die erste Anwendung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig aber danach klappt es wirklich super. Ich habe auch das Gefühl dass sich meine Zähne viel "sauberer" anfühlen als mit einer herkömmlichen Zahnpasta.

: Review date:One thing in advance: the application takes a lot of getting used to. You chew the tablet; the methol that is released causes a considerable flow of saliva, so that you have to resist the swallowing reflex that sets in. There is no foam in the mouth; instead, you brush with the resulting milky-watery solution, which you have to keep in your mouth throughout the brushing process.
I use an electric round-head toothbrush with a soft bristle attachment for brushing. After a few weeks, you can really feel a distinct polishing effect on the surface of the teeth. The teeth are much smoother than when using normal toothpaste. The gums look and feel very healthy. The oral mucosa is also non-irritating. Overall, the tolerability is much better than with sensitive toothpastes; the cleaning effect is outstanding.
This is a perfect product, provided you can cope with the application and are willing to brush with very soft brushes.
Eines vorweg: Die Anwendung ist extrem gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man zerkaut die Tablette; durch das frei werdende Methol setzt erheblicher Speichelfluss ein, so dass man dem einsetzenden Schluckreflex widerstehen muss. Es entsteht kein Schaum im Mund, stattdessen putzt man mit der entstehenden milchig-wässrigen Lösung, die man den Putzvorgang über im Mund behalten muss.
Ich nutze zum Putzen eine elektrische Rundkopfzahnbürste mit weichem Borstenaufsatz. Nach ein paar Wochen ist tatsächlich ein ausgeprägter Poliereffekt auf der Zahnoberfläche spürbar. Die Zähne sind deutlich glatter als bei Verwendung normaler Zahncreme. Das Zahnfleisch sieht sehr gesund aus und fühlt sich auch so an. Die Mundschleimhaut ist ebenfalls reizlos. Die Verträglichkeit ist insgesamt noch einmal deutlich besser als bei Sensitiv-Zahncremes; die Putzwirkung ist dabei herausragend.
Ein perfektes Produkt also, sofern man mit der Art der Anwendung zurechtkommt und gewillt ist, mit sehr weichen Bürsten zu putzen.
