Doesn't come close to northern German plum jam, but it's close. :-) We like to eat it.

Kommt zwar nicht an norddeutsches Pflaumenmus ran, aber ist nah dran. :-) Essen wir gerne.

This has been my only fruit spread for quite some time. Because of the rather Christmas-like spices, one could think that the puree is only something for cold days. However, it is so harmoniously balanced that even my very sensitive taste buds enjoy it all year round. :-)
In the last jar (of probably 10 jars in total) there was a sliver of kernel - it shouldn't happen, but it can. Luckily I noticed the splinter in my mouth before I bit into it, no harm done.

Seit geraumer Zeit mein einziger Fruchtaufstrich. Ob der eher weihnachtlich anmutenden Gewürze könnte man meinen, das Mus sei nur etwas für kalte Tage. Hier wurde aber so harmonisch abgestimmt, dass es auch meinen doch sehr sensiblen Geschmacksnerven ganzjährig mundet. :-)
Im letzten Glas (von bestimmt schon 10 Gläsern gesamt) war jetzt mal ein Kernsplitter - sollte nicht, kann aber vorkommen. Zum Glück habe ich den Splitter im Mund bemerkt, bevor ich voll draufgebissen habe, nichts passiert.
