Application:
Preparation (serves 4): put the rice (300 g) in a colander, rinse off thoroughly with cold water and drain. Then put 600 ml of water in a pot, add some salt and pour in the rice. Bring to the boil and then turn the heat to the lowest level. Let the rice soak for 15-20 minutes with the lid closed.

You just have to let the rice swell for twenty minutes and it's ready. Other types of rice can take twice as long. This quick and easy preparation is perfect for me, as I only have a short time to cook. The rice retains a pleasant bite and tastes delicious after swelling. And the price at Violey is really great for a whole kilo of rice. I will now also order the round grain rice.
Der Reis von dennree ist ein toller Allrounder. Ich verwende ihn zu Hause für alle möglichen Reisgerichte, sowohl für die deutsche als auch für die asiatische Küche. Die Zubereitung ist dabei kinderleicht. Man muss den Reis einfach zwanzig Minuten quellen lassen und schon ist er fertig. Andere Reissorten benötigen da schon mal die doppelte Zeit. Diese schnelle und einfache Zubereitung ist für mich perfekt, da ich nur wenig Zeit zum Kochen habe. Dabei behält der Reis nach dem Quellen einen angenehmen Biss und schmeckt lecker. Und der Preis bei Violey ist echt super für ein ganzes Kilo Reis. Werde mir daher nun auch noch den Rundkornreis bestellen.
