Davert Organic Thai Lentil Coconut Soup. This organic mixture contains a composition of red lentils, vegetables, coconut and fine spices. With the addition of fresh courgette or a handful of fresh spinach, you can start preparing the soup.
Preparation with 1 small zucchini (about 100 g):
  1. Briefly sauté the contents of the bag in 1 tablespoon of hot oil.
  2. Add 1 litre of hot water, bring to a boil and cover.
  3. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes and stir occasionally.
  4. Cut the zucchini, add and cook for another 5 minutes.

Highly recommended, both in terms of composition and flavour. However, the total cooking time of 15 minutes is not right for me. The courgettes are soft, but the lentils are not. I cook the soup for about 30 minutes, adding whatever vegetables I can find in the fridge and sometimes replacing 200 ml of water with a small tin of coconut milk. I really like the variability.

Sehr empfehlenswert, sowohl von der Zusammensetzung, als auch vom Geschmack. Allerdings stimmt die Gesamtkochzeit von 15 min für mich nicht. Die Zucchini sind dann zwar weich, aber die Linsen nicht. Ich köchele die Suppe ca. 30 Minuten, gebe dazu, was sich an Gemüse im Kühlschrank findet, evtl. ersetze ich auch mal 200 ml Wasser durch eine kleine Dose Kokosmilch. Die Variabilität gefällt mir sehr.

Since I love Thai cuisine, I tried this lentil coconut soup and I am more than convinced. The spicy taste is rounded off by a gentle coconut note and I even added some coconut milk to give the soup a creamy consistency. Next time I will try the recipe described here with courgettes. The soup has already been reordered. :-)

Da ich die thailändische Küche liebe, habe ich diese Linsen Kokos Suppe auch ausprobiert und bin mehr als überzeugt davon. Der pikante Geschmack wird abgerundet durch eine sanfte Kokosnote und ich habe sogar noch etwas Kokosmilch dazugegeben wodurch die Suppe eine cremige Konsistenz erhielt. Das nächste Mal werde ich das hier beschriebene Rezept mit Zucchini ausprobieren. Suppe ist schon wieder nachbestellt. :-)

Very tasty. It has a refined seasoning, gentle and full-bodied with even a subtle hint of aniseed now and then. It's a good emergency dish when you don't have much time to cook and you still have a zucchini in the fridge.

Sehr lecker. Es hat eine raffinierte Würzung, sanft und vollmundig mit ab und zu sogar einer feinen Anisnote. Ist ein gutes Notfallessen, wenn mal keine große Zeit zum Kochen ist und man noch eine Zuchini im Kühli hat.
