: Review date:I switched completely to wholemeal rice a few years ago. The valuable ingredients simply convinced me and I quickly got used to the new taste. Now I even use the wholemeal variety for homemade rice pudding. Mostly, however, it goes into my vegetable rice pan or risotto. And that's where the rice from Davert simply tastes best. With a cooking time of 40 minutes, it does take a little longer, but I'm happy to put up with that for the intense flavour. After cooking, the rice remains nice and crunchy and is very satisfying. For me, this is the best brown rice in the world.
Ich bin bereits vor einigen Jahren komplett auf Vollkornreis umgestiegen. Die wertvollen Inhaltsstoffe haben mich einfach überzeugt und an den neuen Geschmack hatte ich mich schnell gewöhnt. Mittlerweile verwende ich die Vollkornvariante sogar für selbstgemachten Milchreis. Meist kommt er aber doch in meine Gemüse-Reis-Pfanne oder ins Risotto. Und da schmeckt mir der Reis von Davert einfach am Besten. Mit einer Kochzeit von 40 Minuten braucht er zwar etwas länger, aber das nehme ich für den intensiven Geschmack gerne in Kauf. Nach dem Kochen bleibt der Reis schön kernig und sättigt gut. Für mich ist das der beste Naturreis der Welt.
