Davert Organic Red Lentils in the large 5 kg supply bag. In India, red lentils are a basic food and prepared as a dhal and have delighted many vacationer or restaurant visitor. The fact that they are peeled, makes them particularly digestible, but the red lentils can no longer be germinated. They taste delicious in soups, patties or as a base for spicy purees. Basic recipe (as a side dish for 2 persons):
Boil 150 g red lentils in twice the amount of water and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Only add salt at the end of the cooking time.
