White short-grain rice

Davert Organic Pudding Rice in the small 500 g package. This is how to make the classic rice pudding, just like in grandmother's times. Variations with cinnamon, but also with sauces or fruit are simply delicious. Pudding rice is made by grinding and polishing brown rice.
Recipe tip: Rice pudding with dried fruit (for 4 persons)
Chop 100 g mixed fruit and soak in 100 ml orange juice. Cook 200 g pudding rice according to the basic recipe. Stir occasionally. Let the rice cool down and season with 2 tbsp. honey, the pulp of half a vanilla pod and cinnamon. Add the soaked fruit. Whip 150 ml cream and fold in.

Bring 400 ml milk to the boil and add 100 g pudding rice. Simmer over low heat in a closed pot for approx. 25-30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
