Davert Organic Mountain lentils. Small, dried aromatic and very tasty lentils. The mountain lentils are firm and visually appealing even after cooking. They are excellent for lentil salads, side dishes and stews. After 20-30 minutes, these small lentils are cooked. Since mountain lentils remain crunchy when cooked, they are well suited for hearty stews and casseroles. By the way, peeled mountain lentils are red lentils.

Application:
As a side dish for 2 people: Boil 150 g mountain lentils in twice the amount of water and simmer for approx. 20-30 minutes. Only add salt at the end of the cooking time. The cooking time can vary. Lime-containing water makes the lentils cook much worse.
