Spelt-free and mildly aromatic

Davert Organic Bare Oats in the small 500-g-pack. Naked oats are a special huskless variety. Whole or ground, they add flavour to salads, patties, grain mixes and casseroles, but also taste great as fresh grain porridge. Naked oats grow almost ‘naked’, as their fine husks only loosely enclose them. Unlike spelt oats, they have no outer shell.

Bring 125 g naked oat to the boil in slightly salted water and simmer over low heat for 25-35 minutes.

Very good quality! We cook the oat grains as indicated in salted water as a side dish to vegetable and legume dishes, instead of e.g. rice. They taste very good to us and retain a pleasant bite, which we find very tasty.

Sehr gute Qualität! Wir kochen die Haferkörner wie angegeben in Salzwasser als Beilage zu Gemüse- und Hülsenfrüchte-Gerichten, anstelle von z.B. Reis. Sie schmecken uns sehr gut und behalten eine angenehme Bissfestigkeit, die wir sehr lecker finden.
