: Review date:If you want to cook more flexibly without having to soak beans for hours, you can use tinned beans. We have had Davert beans in our larder for years, especially the white beans and the occasional kidney bean. Solid quality, homogeneous consistency and neither too soft nor too firm, no lonely empty shells or mushy seeds. And what many others also lack: Intrinsic flavour instead of a lax protein supplement. To my nose, some white beans from other organic manufacturers have an odour reminiscent of dog food - not these. :)
Wer flexibler kochen will, ohne Bohnen stundenlang einzuweichen, greift zu Bohnen in Konserven. Bei uns sind die Davert Bohnen seit Jahren aus dem Vorratsschrank nicht wegzudenken, vor allem die weißen und dann und wann Kidneybohnen. Solide Qualität, Konsistenz homogen und weder zu weich noch zu fest, keine einsamen leeren Schalen oder matschigen Kerne. Und was viele andere auch vermissen lassen: Eigengeschmack statt lasche Proteinbeilage. Weiße Bohnen anderer Bio-Hersteller haben für meine Nase teils einen Geruch, der an Hundefutter erinnert - diese hier nicht. :)

: Review date:I tried the white beans from Davert for the first time and found them very tasty. They are relatively small (they are not giant beans), nice and soft and only a few beans were broken in the can. White beans are a great change from other legumes like kidney beans or chickpeas. I like to add them to a pasta and tomato dish with smoked tofu or to stews. I am very satisfied with the quality of Davert and will order them again.
Ich habe die weißen Bohnen von Davert zum ersten Mal probiert und fand sie sehr lecker. Sie sind relativ klein (sind ja auch keine Riesenbohnen), schön weich und nur wenige Bohnen waren gebrochen in der Dose. Weiße Bohnen sind eine tolle Abwechslung zu anderen Hülsenfrüchten wie Kidneybohnen oder Kichererbsen. In mache sie gerne in ein Nudel-Tomatengericht mit Räuchertofu oder auch in Eintöpfe. Mit der Qualität von Davert bin ich sehr zufrieden und werde sie mir wieder bestellen.

Die Bohnen sind schon gekocht und etwas gesalzen und eignen sich für eine schnell zubereitete Mahlzeit, wie z.B. eine Suppe. Mit einigen Zutaten wie Kräutern und Gewürzen hat man eine warme Mahlzeit, aber auch für einen Salat, z. B. mit Tomaten,sind sie geeignet. Für Singles sehr zu empfehlen!
