Unfortunately, nothing to taste except enormously sour plums, not just "a sour fruit came along". Precisely because there is so little added sugar and I'm not a fan of heavily sweetened things, I went for this. A pity about work, raw materials & money, but I got rid of it. This product was my first attempt with Coteaux Nantais & will remain my last. Too bad, red apple & peach actually interested me too. :-/ If you are looking for a tasty, well-balanced & low-sugar plum spread & eat it lavishly, have leftover brads or want to decant it into a screw-top jar, I recommend the one from Kiebitzhof. :-)
