Compostella 4 in 1 Paper in the practical household roll with 8 m content. As an alternative to cling film: Food and leftovers stay fresh if the storage containers are covered with damp paper. Simply tear off the desired length of paper, moisten briefly with water, unfold and stretch the edge of the container. Can be re-moistened again and again with the water sprayer.

As an alternative to aluminum foil: Almost everywhere where aluminium foil has been used so far, 1 for 4 paper can also be used. For wrapping and heating wraps, waffles, kebabs, pizza etc. or splash protection for the pan. In the oven e.g. for jacket potatoes and potato wedges. Also suitable for freezing dry food for short periods. Caution: Paper is flammable! Do not bring into contact with open fire, grill and heating elements! Heat resistant up to 200°C.

Unfortunately, it is absolutely unsuitable as baking paper, as all the rolls and potato wedges stuck to the paper with olive oil. What a pity! We will now use it exclusively as wrapping paper. Although it was originally bought primarily for baking.

The reviews for this product are really very divergent, either you are totally satisfied or not... I have now formed my own opinion after 4 weeks of use. Basically, I am very satisfied with its use as baking paper. I have baked rolls as well as frozen pizzas and used the paper in baking trays for puff pastry: The baking result was impeccable every time. However, you have to grease the paper well because otherwise it sticks. I don't use the paper as wrapping paper at all, because I have multi-purpose tins for that. As cling film, I find the product a little hard to get used to. Since the paper is supposed to be wet, you have to be a bit careful to wring it out well. And also for storage, I actually mostly use jars or tins that already have a lid.... As aluminium foil, it has worked quite well for potato wedges. That's all I've had on the menu so far. In summary, it is a good alternative to baking paper for me. However, the price is also relatively high!

Die Bewertungen für dieses Produkt sind ja wirklich sehr divergent, entweder man ist total zufrieden oder nicht... Ich habe mir nun nach 4 Wochen Einsatz mein eigenes Urteil gebildet. Grundsätzlich bin ich mit der Verwendung als Backpapier sehr zufrieden. Habe sowohl Brötchen als auch Tiefkühlpizza aufgebacken und das Papier im Backblech unter Zupfkuchen verwendet: Das Backergebnis war jedes Mal tadellos. Man muss das Papier jedoch gut einfetten, weil es sonst haften bleibt. Als Einschlagpapier verwende ich das Papier gar nicht, denn dazu habe ich Mehrzweckdosen. Als Frischhaltefolie finde ich das Produkt ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Da man das Papier nass machen soll, muss man etwas aufpassen, es gut auszuwringen. Und auch zur Aufbewahrung nutze ich eigentlich meistens Gläser oder Dosen, die bereits einen Deckel haben... Als Alufolie hat es bei Kartoffelspalten ganz gut funktioniert. Mehr hatte ich bislang nicht auf dem Speiseplan. Zusammengefasst ist es für mich eine gute alternative für Backpapier. Der Preis ist jedoch auch relativ hoch!

I bought the roll mainly as a baking paper substitute, as I like the idea of avoiding silicone-coated paper. Today I used it for the first time as a baking paper substitute to bake some dumplings on. ... As described, I greased it specially with frying oil, i.e. brushed it on with a brush. Unfortunately, all the dumplings stuck to it without exception. And they stuck so badly that I couldn't get the bottom off, i.e. it stuck completely to the paper. It's a pity, but I won't be using this again. :-(

Ich habe die Rolle hauptsächlich als Backpapier-Ersatz gekauft, da ich den Gedanken gut finde, auf silikonbeschichtetes Papier zu verzichten. Heute habe ich es zum ersten Mal als Backpapier-Ersatz genutzt, um darauf einige Teigtaschen zu backen. ... Wie beschrieben, habe ich es extra mit Bratöl eingefettet, also eingestrichen mit dem Pinsel. Leider haben dennoch ausnahmslos alle Teigtaschen daran geklebt. Und zwar so massiv, dass ich den Boden nicht abbekommen habe, d. h. der blieb dann komplett auf dem Papier haften. Schade, aber das werde ich dafür dann nicht mehr verwenden. :-(

Ich habe das Papier inzwischen einige Male im Einsatz gehabt und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Es hat eine leicht glänzende Oberflache, wirkt im ersten Moment etwas steif, lässt sich aber gut handhaben, z.B. eine halbe Melone einwickeln, Käse (wenn man die Plastikfolie abgemacht hat) … Gefällt mir auf jeden Fall sehr gut.
