Cha Do Gunpowder Temple of Heaven Organic Green Tea: Unit: 100 g

Leaf buds rolled into balls

: Description:

Cha Do Gunpowder Temple of Heaven Organic Green Tea. Fine, mildly smoky organic green tea. In China, this variety is called Zhou Cha (ball tea). After harvesting, the leaves are briefly sterilised in drums and lightly rolled. Then they are tossed in mechanical woks until they get their spherical shape. Since the woks are fired with wood, the tea gets a more or less smoky character. After the tea is dry, it is sieved into various leaf grades, from so-called Pinheads to Temple of Heaven to Half Gunpowders. The coarse leaves are processed into tea bag cuts.

Green tea is supposed to keep you awake longer than coffee - I read that once. The tea already has a strong flavour of its own, as green tea should, and it really does cheer me up much more pleasantly than coffee. For months now, I have been drinking only green tea in the morning and at lunchtime, this one and a jasmine tea from the same brand, and I am absolutely convinced that this was a good idea for me. Watch out for the infusion time! It changes the taste a lot!
