On the way from China to England, a tea clipper took several barrels of bergamot oil with it. In a storm, some of these barrels broke and the oil spilled over the tea. The owner of the ship, the Earl of Grey, had thus created a new kind of tea by accident.

Delicious, intense black tea that I use when I don't have time for loose tea. Quite marvellous, nothing to complain about!

A very nice, round and mild black tea - with *real* bergamot, which comes into its own very well as soon as the tea is brewed (you can hardly smell it in the bag). Absolutely unbeatable in this price range :)

Ein sehr schöner, runder und milder, Schwartzee - mit *echter* Bergamotte, die sehr gut zur Geltung kommt, sobald der Tee aufgebrüht ist (im Beutel riecht man sie nämlich kaum). In dieser Preisklasse absolut unschlagbar :)
