Orange mustard will certainly not replace classic mustard. In my opinion, the great orange flavour goes very well with cheese or on sausage sandwiches. I could also imagine the mustard in sauces, but I haven't tried it yet.
Ich finde auch, dass der Orangensenf sehr süß schmeckt. Das sieht man aber schon am Zuckeranteil in der Nährwerttabelle. Den klassischen Senf löst der Orangensenf mit Sicherheit nicht ab. Die tolle Orangennote passt meiner Meinung nach aber super zu Käse oder auch aufs Wurstbrot. In Soßen könnte ich mir den Senf auch gut vorstellen, hab das aber noch nicht ausprobiert.

: Review date:This mustard from Byodo tastes spicy-sweet of aromatic oranges. Ja!, Maximilian's review is right when he says that it no longer has anything to do with mustard. But: I would also describe the orange mustard more as a fruit mustard (if not a gourmet mustard), which contains less pungency than classic mustard, but with a fruity note. The range of uses is therefore more varied and not necessarily suitable for traditional dishes such as bockwurst and Kassler. The Byodo mustard definitely brings variety to the plate. The 125ml are ideal for first-timers and only-rare mustard eaters!
Würzig-süß nach aromatischen Orangen schmeckt dieser Senf von Byodo. Ja, die Rezension von Maximilian stimmt schon, wenn er meint, dass das nichts mehr mit Senf zu tun hat. Aber: Ich würde den Orangensenf auch eher als Fruchtsenf (wenn nicht sogar als einen Feinschmeckersenf) bezeichnen, der zwar weniger Schärfe enthält als klassischer Senf, dafür mit einer fruchtigen Note. Der Einsatzbereich ist daher vielfältiger und nicht unbedingt für traditionelle Gerichte wie Bockwurst und Kassler geeignet. Abwechslung bringt der Byodo-Senf auf jeden Fall auf die Teller. Die 125ml sind zum ersten Probieren und nur-selten-Senf-Esser ideal!
