Dieser Senf ist ja schon, mit einer Ausnahme, zuhauf lobgepriesen worden. Meinen Geschmack hat der Senf ebenfalls vollends getroffen. Aromatisch und würzig, aber nicht zu scharf. Bei meinen Verwandten in Bayern wird Senf generell großgeschrieben und selbst zum Abendbrot gereicht oder für Salatdressings verwendet. Ganz besonders lecker fand ich Senfsuppe.

: Review date:This mustard tastes very good and I think that "medium hot" is the right term that the manufacturer has chosen. I haven't eaten much mustard in recent years, but I like this one very much too. There is no comparison at all with the mustards at sausage stands, where I lose my appetite for mustard. This Byodo mustard is not too spicy at all and the quality is definitely right (judging by my feeling).
Dieser Senf schmeckt sehr gut und ich bin der Meinung, dass "mittelscharf" der richtige Ausdruck ist, den der Hersteller gewählt hat. : Review date:The medium hot mustard from Byodo has a bright yellowish green colour and a fine creamy consistency. It goes well with sausage sandwiches, grilled food or mustard dressings. My husband loves it, but for me personally, it is a little too spicy for a medium mustard. It really bites my nose. So I'd rather not even try the spicy version ;-) Instead, I prefer the mustard from Münchner Kindl. Qualitatively, however, there is nothing to be said (or rather written) against Byodo, its high-quality ingredients even come from organic cultivation according to Bioland. And everyone judges the intensity of the spiciness according to their own feelings.
Der mittelscharfe Senf von Byodo hat eine leuchtende gelblich grüne Farbe und eine feine cremige Konsistenz. Er passt gut zu Wurstbroten, Gegrilltem oder Senfdressings. Mein Mann liebt ihn, mir persönlich ist er aber für einen mittleren Senf schon etwas zu scharf. Er beißt bei mir richtig in der Nase. Da will ich die scharfe Variante lieber gar nicht erst versuchen ;-) Ich esse stattdessen am Liebsten den Senf von Münchner Kindl. Qualitativ ist aber nichts gegen Byodo zu sagen (oder besser zu schreiben), seine hochwertigen Zutaten stammen sogar aus biologischen Anbau nach Bioland. Und die Intensität der Schärfe bewertet ja jeder nach seinem eigenen Empfinden.

: Review date:Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this medium hot mustard at all. Its smell is very pungent and burns the respiratory tract. The taste is rather boring. It is dominated almost exclusively by spiciness, and you can taste almost nothing of the actual mustard. I find the broad palette of flavours that make a good mustard special is sorely lacking. This one actually has no flavour of its own. In my opinion, the intensity of the heat is far too strong for a medium-hot mustard. In the end, however, it's all a matter of taste. In any case, I will not buy this mustard again. There are really much better quality products in the organic sector.
Diesen mittelscharfen Senf kann ich leider überhaupt nicht weiterempfehlen. Sein Geruch ist sehr scharf und brennt in den Atemwegen. Der Geschmack ist dabei eher langweilig. Dieser wird fast ausschließlich von Schärfe dominiert, vom eigentlichen Senf schmeckt man fast nichts. Hier fehlt mir doch stark die breite Palette an Aromen, die einen guten Senf besonders machen. Dieser hier hat eigentlich gar keinen Eigengeschmack. Meiner Meinung nach ist die Intensität der Schärfe auch viel zu stark für einen mittelscharfen Senf. Letztendlich aber ist das wohl alles Geschmackssache. Werde diesen Senf jedenfalls nicht noch einmal kaufen. Da gibt es wirklich viel hochwertigere Produkte im Biobereich.
