These noodles are made without eggs and consist exclusively of the ancient grain emmer. They have a light brownish colour and a nutty flavour. The consistency is more crunchy and firm to the bite than pasta made from durum wheat semolina. Their nutty flavour makes them an excellent accompaniment to cheese sauces. But of course they also taste good with classic tomato sauce. At the same time, they are wholesome and filling. The price is a little higher than for other pasta, but it is a special cereal. I don't want to eat only noodles made from summer spelt now, but they are great for a change in between meals.

Diese Nudeln werden ohne Eier hergestellt und bestehen ausschließlich aus dem Urgetreide Emmer. Sie haben eine helle bräunliche Farbe und einen nussigen Eigengeschmack. Die Konsistenz ist kerniger und bissfester als bei Nudeln aus Hartweizengries. Durch ihre nussige Note passen sie für mich hervorragend zu Käsesoßen. Sie schmecken aber natürlich auch zu klassischer Tomatensoße. Dabei sind sie vollwertig und sättigend. Der Preis ist zwar etwas höher als bei anderen Nudeln, aber dafür handelt es sich hierbei ja auch um ein besonderes Getreide. Ich möchte nun zwar nicht nur noch Nudeln aus Sommerdinkel essen, aber als Abwechslung zwischendurch sind sie bestens geeignet.
