Smoked shiitake mushrooms provide umami aroma and the authentic, smoky bacon taste. Thanks to cashews and yeast flakes, this vegan carbonara tastes typically cheesy and of course delicious.
Add more:
- 250 ml water
- 50 ml vegan cooking cream
- Put the contents of the bag in a pot with water and vegan cooking cream and stir with a whisk.
- Bring to the boil over medium to high heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly - done.
Plus spaghetti and BioVegan pasta toppings as a Parmesan alternative.
