Among all primates, the human is the only one without fur. Or with extremely little fur. But why? The jungle gives us the answer to this question. Most apes live in manageable family associations there. The first humans still lived in forests, too. But since they could not climb onto treetops, at some point they had to leave the forest in order to search for food.
