The poor DHL subcontractors are obviously being exploited so badly that they don't know what else to do. Complaining to DHL has been futile so far. Shareholder value, after all...
The coconut oil from Bio Planète is great. I only wish that the glue used to attach the label was more "removal-friendly": you have to resort to caustic chemicals to get it off if you want to keep using the container. A few years ago, AmanPrana had the same problem; now they use a "light" adhesive so the label is almost effortless to remove. Perhaps Violey could pass on the suggestion.

Die armen DHL-Subunternehmer werden offenbar so arg ausgebeutet, dass sie sich gar nicht anders zu helfen wissen. Beschwerden bei DHL waren bislang zwecklos. Shareholder Value eben...
Das Kokosöl von BIo Planète ist klasse. Ich wünschte nur, dass der Klebstoff, mit dem das Etikett befestigt wird, "entfernungsfreundlicher" wäre: man muss schon zu ätzenden chemischen Mitteln greifen, um es abzukriegen, wenn man den Behälter weiter nutzen will. Vor ein paar Jahren gab es das gleiche Problem bei AmanPrana; jetzt verwenden sie ein "leichtes" Klebemittel, sodass das Etikett fast mühelos zu entfernen ist. Vielleicht könnte Violey die Anregung weiterreichen.

: Review date:The oil is very suitable for Asian cuisine. However, caution is advised for everyday "home cooking", as the taste of the oil may well transfer to the food. By that I mean, although I really like the taste of coconut, I don't necessarily want my fried fish fingers to taste of it either. So I always think about whether the coconut flavour harmonises with the dish I want to cook before I use it and then decide what kind of oil to use. I don't have this effort with a neutral vegetable oil. Apart from that, there is nothing to complain about, the quality and taste of the oil is excellent.
Das Öl ist sehr gut für die asiatische Küche geeignet. Bei der täglichen "Hausmannskost" ist allerdings Vorsicht geboten, da sich der Geschmack des Öls durchaus auch auf die Speisen übertragen kann. Damit meine ich, obwohl ich den Geschmack von Kokos sehr gerne mag, möchte ich nicht unbedingt, dass auch meine gebratenen Fischstäbchen danach schmecken. Ich überlege mir daher stets vor dem Gebrauch, ob das Kokosaroma mit dem Gericht, welches ich kochen möchte, harmoniert und entscheide dann, was für ein Öl ich verwende. Diesen Aufwand habe ich bei einem neutralen Pflanzenöl nicht. Ansonsten gibt es aber nichts zu bemängeln, das Öl ist qualitativ und geschmacklich hervorragend.
