Application:

Pre-growing the maize seedlings 2-3 weeks before the planting date is recommended. Maize germinates quickly at temperatures around 25°C, then place in a cooler place. Place the maize bed on the north or west side of the garden so that neighbouring beds are not shaded.

Sowing in the field: Beginning of May to beginning of June.
Harvest: Mid-August to mid-October.
Row spacing: 25 cm.
Plant spacing: 60 cm.
Sowing depth: 3 cm.

Tip: Maize needs a lot of water. Especially when the corn cobs start to grow.
