Striking plant growing up to 2 m tall with long, narrow, deep green leaves and bright orange, velvety tubular flowers that appear in many whorls arranged one above the other. Beautiful solitary plant with a long flowering period until late autumn. The flowers of the small-leaved lion's ear provide bees, bumblebees and co. with nutritious nectar and pollen.
