We have been looking for seeds of an organic cucumber with a flavour similar to "Nagai" for some time. A cucumber that has the typical cucumber flavour, but which is probably not available as organic seed. With the Persika from Bingenheimer, we finally found what we were looking for. The cucumbers are in no way watery, but rather firm and have a wonderfully gherkin-like, genuine flavour. All of the seeds I planted have sprouted. The plants are on a trellis in the open, protected from the rain. We have been able to harvest for 2 weeks and there is still plenty of supply. We give it an unreserved recommendation to buy.

Wir suchen schon länger nach dem Saatgut einer Gurke im Biosortiment, die geschmacklich der "Nagai" nahekommt. Einer Gurke, die den urtypischen Gurkengeschmack bereithält, die aber wohl als Biosaatgut nicht angeboten wird. Mit der Persika von Bingenheimer sind wir endlich fündig geworden. Die Gurken sind in keinster Weise wässrig, sondern eher fest und haben einen wunderbar gurkigen, echten Geschmack. Von den Samen, die ich gelegt habe, sind alle aufgegangen. Die Pflanzen stehen an einer Rankhilfe im Freiland, vor Regen geschützt. Wir können seit 2 Wochen ernten und Nachschub ist auch noch zahlreich vorhanden. Von uns gibt es eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.
