The pods have a great aroma even when they are unripe and pale yellow. When fully ripe, the fruits turn bright orange-red. Bell peppers need a lot of warmth to germinate (25-28 °C). After pricking out, place in a cooler place, preferably at 20-22 °C in a bright spot.
