Bingenheimer Saatgut Organic Seeds Spinach Butterflay. Very fast-growing, tried-and-tested spinach variety for spring and autumn cultivation, also with overwintering. Sown in autumn, Butterflay is an ideal catch crop for beds already harvested in summer. The round-oval leaves are strong with a fresh green colour.

Sowing outdoors: early March to mid-April / mid-August to mid-October.
Harvest: Beginning of April to mid-June / mid-September to end of November.

Tip: A moist, loose soil is important for spinach, otherwise the seeds will not germinate. Spinach thrives in full sun and partial shade. It also performs well as a green manure.
